James (Jim)'s Story
Life
'Seems like I'm all over the place -- registered in three high schoole (two of them in Canada at that!) and in a couple of military-related groups. I was even once registered in a Catholic girl's school (yes, as "Jim") in hopes of contacting some of my wife's friends for her! That was confusing and became too difficult to explain, so I opted out of that group!
My initial interest, perhaps, is in keeping up with fellow members and alumni of my own high school, Saint John Vocational School in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. My years of attendance at SJVS (1939-1942) give you a pretty good hint as to how old I am!
I also like to keep abreast of folks and doings of "that other high school in town", Saint John High School, where many of my friends (and relatives)...Expand for more
attended.
I'm registered too in the Robert E. Lee High School, Baton Rouge, Louisiana community -- not as a student or alumnus myself, but as the father of three former Lee students. Nevertheless,I enjoy keeping up with Lee activities and have had several warm and interesting contacts with former Lee students, many who know or knew my "kids", Darrel, Janine and Russell. Let me know if you knew any of them and wonder "what became of" or would like to get in touch.
While not a career military person, I did spend nearly twelve years in the US Army and developed several dear friends and it's always a pleasure reestablishing friendship with those who shared the varied experiences military life presents.
'Hope none of you mind an "old fella" lookin' in.
